Calisthenics in Coolidge Woods




I enjoy going on walks in general, and nature walks in particular. When I go with Adam, it is most likely that we will choose a new path to explore because he likes new things. Our town has a walking path map on their website and we sometimes use this to guide our decision. The map is pretty limited so it's never really clear what the path will be like.

The path was through the woods, some uphill action, some little boardwalks,

some muddy muddy, the usual. What did stand out, however, were it's intermittent calisthenic stops that appeared to be 20 (100?) years old.


There was a pretty wide range of activities including and awkward stepping situation that had no sign; push ups that turned into Adam going places he shouldn't go; side bends which were pretty tame; and much, much, more!

Things like this are what make nature walks both enjoyable and hilarious. Also hilarious:
